The Role
Client Success Manager
WellTheory is looking for a passionate, results-driven Client Success Manager to build and nurture long-term partnerships with our enterprise clients as we scale. You’ll own day-to-day client relationships, ensuring exceptional service while driving engagement, retention, and measurable outcomes.
You’ll serve as the strategic advisor to client stakeholders (HR, benefits, wellness, and medical directors), translating their goals into successful partnership outcomes. This is a cross-functional role that collaborates closely with Sales, Product, Operations, Engineering, and Care — and reports to the Co-founder, Operations.
Some of your responsibilities will include**:**
- Building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and acting as their strategic advisor
- Driving utilization, engagement, and adoption of WellTheory’s programs
- Delivering data-driven business reviews with insights and recommendations
- Securing renewals and identify expansion opportunities
- Anticipating and resolving client issues with urgency and care
- Contributing to playbooks and best practices as the Client Success function scales
About You
These are not strict requirements, but traits of someone who will thrive in this role.
- 5+ years of enterprise client success or account management experience, ideally in digital health, benefits, or adjacent B2B2C environments, with a track record of driving retention, renewals, and expansion within complex client ecosystems.
- Relationship-driven communicator. You build deep trust with clients at every level — from day-to-day champions to C-suite executives. You know how to read the room, adapt your style based on the audience, and navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Strategic storyteller. You turn data into insight and insight into action — using engagement, outcomes, and ROI data to shape compelling narratives that influence client decisions and demonstrate value.
- Operationally excellent. You manage complex projects end-to-end, juggle multiple accounts with precision, and bring structure to ambiguity
- Hands-on and entrepreneurial. You’re comfortable starting as a team of one — rolling up your sleeves to execute while helping to define the playbook for scale. You balance strategic thinking with tactical execution and find energy in building something new.
- Adaptable and resourceful. You bring creativity to problem-solving, stay calm under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic, fully remote environment. You anticipate challenges before they surface and find solutions that keep clients—and teams—confident and informed.
