The Role
Data Analyst
We’re looking for a hands-on Data Analyst to turn raw data into the insights that steer our business. You’ll report to the Head of Finance (Zac) and partner with our data engineers and department leads to define KPIs, build clear dashboards, and ensure data quality. You’ll also assemble executive and board reporting that brings our story to life.
You’ll start as an IC, working across Marketing, Product, Care, Customer Success, and Operations to make sure leaders have the right numbers—accurate, timely, and decision-ready.
About You
(These aren’t hard requirements—just a picture of someone who will thrive here.)
- Experience: 3–6 years in data analysis/BI at a product-led or healthtech company; startup experience a plus.
- Stack fluency: Advanced SQL (BigQuery preferred); strong with Superset (or similar BI), spreadsheets, and basic Python for analysis is a plus. Familiar with event analytics (e.g., PostHog) and cohort/retention methods.
- Business athlete: Comfortable context-switching across growth, product usage, clinical/care ops, and finance; you tie analyses to decisions and outcomes.
- Clear Communicator: You craft crisp narratives—clear charts, plain-English takeaways, and specific recommendations.
This role might not be a fit if:
- You prefer owning only the tech stack and not the business story.
- You don’t enjoy documentation—definitions and pre-reads are part of our cadence.
- You want a large analytics team on Day 1—this is an IC role with broad scope.
Who We’re Looking For
- High standards. You hold yourself to a high standard when it comes to data quality.
- Bias to action. You ship v1 dashboards quickly and improve them with feedback.
- Curious & coachable. You ask great questions and welcome edits on your work.
What You’ll Do
- Own the company KPIs. Define, document, and maintain trusted metric definitions; reconcile differences between Superset and PostHog where needed.
