The Role
Part-Time Marketing Operations Manager
We’re looking for a part-time Marketing Operations Manager who’s ready to jump in and make a difference. In this hands-on role, you’ll help bring WellTheory’s marketing campaigns to life — from building and QA’ing email and direct mail sends to pulling clean performance data that helps us improve with every iteration. You’ll partner closely with our full-time Marketing Technology and Operations Lead to keep things running smoothly and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
This role is for you if you thrive where operations, project management, and data meet and you’re excited to help people live healthier, more empowered lives.
About you
You’re a campaign pro who brings precision to everything you touch — from inboxes to mailboxes. You build and QA email flows, manage direct mail orders, and make sure every tracking link and proof is flawless. You move confidently between tools like ActiveCampaign and PostHog to serve up clear, reliable performance data.
These are not requirements but describe someone who might be a great fit for WellTheory and this role:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building, QA’ing and deploying email campaigns in platforms like MailChimp, Iterable, and ActiveCampaign
- Meticulous attention to detail. You’re the one catching the missing comma or the dead link in an email or direct mailer before it goes to market
- Experience working with a cross-functional, remote team — you know how to collaborate and communicate clearly with marketers, designers, and developers
- Strong organizational skills. You’re not a project manager but you think like one. You can think several steps ahead of any given task and consistently make sure your campaigns and tasks are organized and completed on time
- A growth mindset and comfort with fast-paced environments where priorities can shift quickly
- Total comfort pulling and organizing performance data across multiple platforms
Nice To Have
- Deep expertise in HTML and CSS for email development (to translate our Design team's incredible mocks into incredible emails!)
Who We’re Looking For
Outside of the specific role, here are qualities that make someone successful at WellTheory:
- Empathy for the autoimmune experience. You don’t need to have an autoimmune condition for this role but you need to have deep empathy for the lived experience of autoimmune patients and be able to effectively convey that to potential customers.
- Beginner’s mindset. You have a love of learning and like to solve problems from the ground up. You’re a curious person and embrace the opportunity to explore the unfamiliar aspects of your role, ask questions, and seek understanding without fear of judgment. You openly admit when you make mistakes and are open-minded when it comes to new approaches of problem-solving.
- Unreasonably relentless. You’ve been called a “force of nature” and have done something most people wouldn’t (e.g., ran a marathon, started a company, got a degree while working full-time, and/or overcame difficult adversities). Persistence is your middle name and you don’t give up easily.
